Teenage gang who stole more than £1 million of cars in 'terrifying' north London robberies jailed

The last individual from a young posse who took vehicles worth more than £1 million in "unnerving" north London burglaries has been imprisoned.

The gathering liable for around 30 vehicle burglaries in the Wood Green region more than a six-month time frame

- designated extravagance vehicles prior to following and encompassing them.

Ramzak Ngatika, 19, of Wood Green, was imprisoned for quite some time and Melvin Kamara, 18, of Acton,

was imprisoned for a very long time at Wood Green Crown Court on January 12.

A fourth high schooler, then matured 17, got a young recovery request in the wake of conceding

to one count of theft and ownership of a hostile weapon in August 2021.

Acting Analyst Sergeant Daryl Belsey of the

Met's North Region Theft Group said: "This gathering were liable for a progression of unnerving burglaries committed

more than a six-month time frame across north London.

"Following a speedy and industrious examination, the suspects were distinguished and captured before additional offenses could be committed.

"Since the gathering were captured and removed the roads,

there was a 80 percent decrease in vehicle burglaries on the districts where they worked.

"PC Tim Cultivate from the North Region Burglary Group has been indispensable to the fruitful result of this examination.

It is fastidious police work like this which helps keep the public safe and put the culprits of crime in jail."
