Kristin Rossum | The American Beauty Killer

Today’s case takes us to San Diego, California, where at 9.22pm on the 6th of November 2000, emergency services would receive a telephone call from 24-year-old Kristin Rossum, who found her husband – 26-year-old Gregory de Villers - lying unresponsive – in bed.

Kristin would be talked through CPR while she waited for an ambulance to arrive, but it would be to no avail. Upon taking Greg to hospital, he would be pronounced dead around an hour later.

What was initially portrayed as Greg tragically taking his own life, quickly turned into something far more sinister, involving lies, infidelity and murder.
