Raw Duel - Trash Gladius Wrecked by Drake Herald in Duel

Ok, ok calm down. First off, let me say Mathew was a great pilot and we definitely engaged in a respectful duel where the obviously superior pilot came out on top. If he was flying a designated Fighter I would have been waking up in the hospital way sooner. This was a good fight for me that I needed to help get me more practice without getting destroyed instantly.

Second, I have recently acquired an Azeron Gamepad and have been messing with my button layout at the same time I am getting used to a new system here. That being said I was doomed from the get go. I went into this consensual battle not managing my Power to Engines, Shields, or Weapons properly. And as the fight continues, you'll see and hear me scrambling with the button layout, trying to remember the keys I have mapped while also starting to panic. The fight deteriorates slowly for me. I even engage Cruise Control unwittingly at full throttle trying to Decouple. At some point I try disengaging the recently adapted ESP (Enhanced Stick Precision) button. Basically, I fumbled the ball, and as usually I failed to apply damage when needed. It's evident that I require much more practice. Practice is what i will be getting though. Just having access to one analog stick already gives me way more control over my craft, I just need to get used to this new contraption.

Now let me say, there is no reason an Aegis Gladius should lose to Drake Herald. Clearly, I am at fault. This is a clear cut image of what an inexperienced pilot faces when fighting someone more experienced. Pilot vs Pilot I was out classed. Had a lot of fun here regardless. At my expense or not, I hope you enjoyed at the very least.
