Sermon of His Holiness Pope Jacobus I on the 4th Dominica after Epiphany...29 January 2023 AD...in today's Gospel Christ Our Lord teaches through His true Roman Catholic Church, which is to say through this same infallible doctrine of this true Holy Apostolic See, that being with God is the twofold safety, firstly and most importantly the safety of the soul, the supernatural protection of the faithful Catholic soul coming from God, and then of the body, when that is according to God's will as even martyrdom for the Catholic Faith, which is nothing else but Catholic Tradition, leads to salvation and God's gift it truly is, and then also, by similitude the Church applies this example of today to Her own Authority and Sacraments and Doctrine of Faith and Morals, as that is the vessel of salvation, the ship that separates from otherwise spiritual eternal perdition, the drowning of the soul in sin, those who are faithful and true to God, which means those who are truly Catholic...then they are protected as the Apostles were protected from drowning in the see by God, with the little faith they had in Him, yet He protected them from being lost, so does His Church, by His Divine help, protects all those who are truly Catholic within Her bosom of salvation, as outside of it there is none...never.
