Baler Break Downs = NEVERENDING HAY SEASON?! (Trying to Stay Positive...)

What do you do when EVERYTHING goes wrong? Nothing. There is NOTHING you can do, but take a breath and try to figure out the next step.

That's the name of the game this hay season, as what had SEEMED like the perfect ending to a less than desirable hay season, suddenly turns into a nightmare.

The New Holland 575 High capacity small square baler decides it has had enough, and suddenly decides it won't tie another knot. But time is running out as rain is approaching, and with a trailer full of hay and more bales still to be collected, its a race to get it back to the barn before the rains ruin it.

They didn't make it, and Farm Girl was left to pick up the pieces and hope for a better crop next year. But for this year, she's got to gather as much as she can and get it to dry before the wet fall weather sets in . . .
