Ford Superduty Dual Battery Upgrade | BMS Reset w/Forscan

Maintenance is the key to keeping your trucks systems running efficiently. Today I’m replacing the factory dual lead acid (flooded) batteries on my 2020 F350 with the 6.7 Powerstroke. These flooded batteries from the factory vent a terrible amount and cause significant corrosion. This could be for lots of reasons, but ultimately I think it caused the early failure of one of mine. Rather than dealing with the horrible service of my local dealership I opted to upgrade to a pair of AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) sealed batteries. Afterwards I reset the battery management system using Forscan and I’m ready to get Bertha back on the road.
