Brian Perry - Cursed by Gold?

In today’s case, we’ll be taking a look at an unsolved 2001 case which is actually part of a much bigger case.

In 1983 - the largest gold bullion robbery took place at Brinks Mat, which would result in 3 tonnes of gold being stolen, much of which was never recovered.

After looking after the interests for two of the men while they served jail time for their role in the robbery, Brian Perry would nest some of the stolen goods for his own benefit. He would later be caught and sentenced to 9 years in prison in 1992.

Shortly after his release, his life would be taken in broad daylight. We take a look at the investigation and the outcome of this specific chapter in what is commonly known now as the Brinks Mat curse.
