Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Rice Meal-in-a-bag
Bag contents:
2 c instant rice
2 c freeze dried broccoli
1 25 oz can chicken breast or 1 pint home canned
1 can cream of chicken condensed soup
1 can broccoli cheese condensed soup
1 can cheddar cheese condensed soup
1 14.5 oz can chicken broth
1 sm package french fried onions
Place all ingredients together in bag with a copy of the cooking instructions, Add an additional can or two of fruit or another veg to serve alongside if desired.

Cooking Instructions:
Oven: Combine all ingredients except onions and mix well. Pour into a 9x13” casserole. Cover tightly with foil and bake @400 for 30 mins. Remove foil and stir lightly if desired. Continue baking 20 minutes longer uncovered. Crush onions and sprinkle over top. Bake 5-10 minutes longer. Let stand 10 mins before serving.
Stovetop: In large pot with lid, combine all ingredients except onions. Bring to a simmer over medium high heat. Reduce heat and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed. Sprinkle with onions (toast in dry pan if desired)
