Within one week, two Asian men committed two mass shootings in California. One is a Chinese immigrant who has lived in the U.S. for 11 years. Mainland Chinese physicians have publicly said that nearly 100 million Chinese have depression. People's Daily stated that almost one-quarter of all Chinese adolescents have depression. How should we understand Chinese people's mental state? What does China's mental health problem mean to the rest of the world in today's geopolitics? Let's hear a leading physician, author, and international expert, Dr. J.D. Yang, sharing his insight. He will take questions at the end.

Dr. JD Yang is a board-certified psychiatrist and expert on classic forms of Chinese medicine. He incorporates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, neuro-emotional technique, nutritional and dietary consultation, psychotherapy, and medication management for patients with various emotional and physical illnesses.
