Welcome to the start of my playthrough of Ys Monstrum Nox, the most recent action rpg in a long-standing series! In this episode Adol Christin is arrested at the gates of a fortress city for his involvement in past events without warning, thrown into a strange prison! After a fellow inmate provides him a means to escape his cell, he escapes into a strange catacombs beneath the prison, filled with monsters! Discovered by an unusual woman named Aprilis, she afflicts him with a curse which empowers him but keeps him from leaving the city! Now he must seek others like himself known as 'Monstrums' in order to discover what's to be done about it!
