School Board Backlash, Linn-Mar

Backlash from comment made by Linn-Mar school board member, Rachel Wall, get reaction from politicians, parents and Foxnews.

"The purpose of a public Ed is not to teach kids what parents want. It is to teach them what society needs them to know. The client is not the parent, but the community." - Rachel Wall January 2023

This is an exact quote of Michigan Democrat Party tweet which was then retracted by the Michigan Democrat Party. Rachel Wall at the time of this writing has not apologized or retracted her statement. In response she tried to explain her comment which was perceived by parents as worse than the original post.
