The infantry squad and tank crew of the 103rd motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces seized the initiative and began to storm the western part of the city. The positions of the 35th and 79th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fell under dense fire distribution from the T-72B3M.

Ukrainian militants occupied one of the surviving high-rise buildings in the central district of Maryinka. Russian assault groups are making their way to it. At the same time, the fighters competently use the rubble of the destroyed infrastructure as artificial barriers.

As they move through the city ruins, the crew of the T-72B3M provides fire resistance to the nomadic crews of the Javelin anti-tank systems hiding in the open spaces of the private sector. In the video, you can see an integral attribute of Russian armored vehicles - an anti-cumulative visor. It is he who restrains Javelin strikes and grenades or mines dropped from UAVs.

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has to transfer a large number of mobilized people to this sector of the front in order to somehow keep the situation under control. But the coordinated actions of all units participating in the assault leave no chance for Ukrainian forces. There is only one way out - to retire to distant positions.
