Experience the ultimate power fantasy as the apex predator of the seas - a terrifying SHARK! Maneater is a single-player, open-world action RPG (ShaRkPG) where YOU are the shark. Starting as a small shark pup you are tasked with surviving the harsh world while eating your way up the ecosystem.

To do this you will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies - both human and wildlife. Find the right resources and you can grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to tailor the shark to their play style. This is fortunate because to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you will take evolving into a massive shark, an apex predator of legends. Eat. Explore. Evolve.

Positives:
1. Game is fun when eating vulnerable fat humans.
2. Gives you quests/objectives to collect/kill and discover, keeping things in the game more interesting to explore further.
3. The world itself is very pretty featuring a day and night cycle.
4. Customisation for optional shark perks to level up your skills and stats.
5. The voice acting is well done, as its screams are horrifyingly funny.

The Negatives:
1. Game has a thing for crashing at intense times, be it fighting an orca or the hunter's boats clashing into each other too much it shuts my game off.
2. At times it can have lag spikes and frame drops when using abilities or fighting lots of hunters.

This game is very unique. Has some great humor and a simple gameplay loop. The controls are a little odd and may take some getting used to. If anything I wish there were more story and armor sets. The sound design is also not that great. Still worth experiencing this title though. Really hope there's a sequel.
