Russia's communications regulator, Roskomnadzor, has blocked access to the websites of the CIA and FBI, according to TASS. The organization explained the move by saying that the two US government sites contained false information that undermined the reputation of the Russian armed forces. Additionally, the blocked sites were reported to be responsible for the dissemination of material intended to cause political and social instability in Russia. Roskomnadzor noted that this was not the first time it had taken steps to restrict access to websites with such content.
