REBELLION vs SUPREME CT is massive WIN for 2a?

The Gun Safety Act of 2023 with a proposed effective date of October 1, 2023 means that Maryland has proposed arguably one of the nation's worst, most unconstitutional, and just plain crazy anti-gun laws all in the name of protecting the public. But why and how could this crazy bill be the best thing for the 2nd amendment in the long term?

The bill would all but outlaw conceal carry, open carry, and the transportation of firearms virtually anywhere. This puts Maryland in open rebellion against the US Supreme Court and the recent New York Rifle State Pistol Association v. Bruen. There is no way, zero, that anyone could even take a remotely reasonable reading of the Bruen decision and then write the Maryland law and say: yeah, same-same, this bill is within Bruen. None.

But the last laugh may belong to the folks who support the rule of law and the 2nd amendment as oftentimes the WORST bills and laws can create a severe whiplash effect against their writers. Will this happen here?
