The D&D Community Is STILL Upset After Latest OGL 1.2 Update WOTC Responds

Wizards of the Coast owns many different fantasy franchises including Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. Both of the franchise have decades old fan bases. Obviously change can be hard for some people, but when you have fostered a free and open community like Dungeons and Dragons has for many years with their Open Gaming License 1.0 (which gives any creative the ability to use the D&D game system free of charge as long as they make their own story). Well now Wizards of the Coast is wanting to change the original OGL 1.0 to something new and fans are not happy. One famous YouTuber Ginny Di even canceled her DND Beyond subscriptions when it was leaked that this was one way WOTC was measuring fan feedback. The draft of the new OGL has been leaked and it caused immediate backlash and even a hugely successful fan petition on line. After all the online backlash Wizards of the Coast has now released a newer version titled Open Gaming License 1.2. Well the Dungeons and Dragons community has had time to respond and WOTC for over 10,000 responses to the newest version and fans still aren't happy. Wizards of the Coast has responded.
