Hiking in Stoos, Switzerland | ft. World's Steepest Funicular Railway

Have you tried solo hiking in Switzerland? High up in one of the stunning alpine mountains in Switzerland is the car-free village Stoos. To get up here is already an adventure - you have to ride the world's steepest funicular railway!

The funicular railway is easily reached by public transportation from Zurich, about 1.5hrs away.

From Stoos, I did the ridge trail from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock for about 4km. The hike was breathtaking, with some small challenges, but nonetheless accessible by the average hiker - as long as you're careful and sure-footed!
