Our Final Hunt of the 2022 - 2023 Upland Season

Echo and Josey were really good on this day. Unfortunately, I was not. Eastern, Colorado has has a ton of snow over the last few weeks. The drifts presented a real challenge for the dogs and me.

Josey did something that I had never witnessed with a wild bird. She pounced on a hen sitting tight. Jo sheared her feathers off, but thankfully she flew away.

We had a good season despite my average shooting. I will get some practice in this offseason.
