Wandering Wagners RV Life: A chocolate crisis? Oh No! No worries the chocolate crisis was averted thanks to the Jeep!
Are we RVing/ camping in Indiana state parks again!? YES! We ventured back to our neighbor to the West, Indiana, to visit Chain O Lakes State Park in Albion, IN, Northwest of Fort Wayne, IN.

We wanted to visit this park on our Winter RVing adventures, but the Winter was just too short this year. We were still able to get out and enjoy some great hiking with our dogs, and really got to be in nature.

When we arrived, we found our site to be really unlevel! We have hydraulic leveling on our Super C RV but it would have raised up the RV so the tires would be off the ground and you don't want that. So we put down our orange leveling blocks on the rear. the parking brake is on the rear tires so you never want those to be off the ground! Check out our Amazon store if you need to purchase some of your own. Once it was leveled out, I grilled up some burgers for Mike and I had some asparagus and mushroom caps! Everything was going so well until Mike went to look for his favorite after dinner snack, Hershey's chocolate, and he found out that we'd forgot to bring it on this trip!
Oh no! Mike can't go without chocolate so in the jeep we all went and found a nearby store where he could buy some. Crisis Averted!

Next we went hiking with our dogs Guy and Piper and got to explore the park and the many lakes all linked together. We went just shy of 8 miles! We really enjoy Indiana State Parks trail systems. They have them marked out very well and they are easy to follow. (Take note, Ohio and make your maps and signage better haha)

The park offers canoe, kayak, and paddleboat rentals as well! We planned on renting a canoe but after that hike, Mike was too tired and just wanted to hang out around a campfire the rest of the evening.

Overall it was a great trip! This park can get quite busy so if you like more seclusion, we recommend you visit in the off-season.
