A Must See Attraction: PA Abandoned Turnpike & Tunnels!

In this episode of Wandering Wagners we returned to a Must See Attraction: The PA Abandoned Turnpike & Tunnels in Breezewood, PA! This time with @LectriceBikes to ride so we could make it even further than before.

On our way to our next destination in Pennsylvania, we decided to stop off in Breezewood at the TA truck stop so we could revisit the abandoned turnpike nearby. We have our Lectric XPremium ebikes with us this time so we could ride even further. There are 3 tunnels and a "rest area" that are still there and 2 of the 3 tunnels are open to the public to explore. You can walk, run, bike etc but you cannot take a vehicle down the abandoned roads.

The second tunnel is over 1.3 miles long in itself! Once you enter, you cannot see the end of the tunnel or the light at the end of it, which was crazy! If you're looking for a good way to explore and also cool off, then look no further, because the tunnels are in mountains, it is always rather cool inside them!

This is definitely a must see so if you haven't visited this road-side attraction yet, we highly recommend you do!
