Piper Returns Home! (RV Trip To Hueston Woods)

The Wandering Wagners decided to try another new park! Hueston Woods State Park in College Corner, Ohio. And also Piper's Return from doggy bootcamp!🎉

We saw this park had an open full hook up site so we decided to take it! We didn't reserve it weeks or months in advance... Nope! Literally less than a day before I was just browsing and saw that the park had an opening so we jumped on it.

Once we arrived, we put our Lectric XP 2.0 eBikes to good use again at this park, and we rode all around and even found the covered bridge.

Mike even decided to do laundry in our Nexus Wraith 34W Super C rv! What I want to know is... what does he want?! or what did he do!? 😆

The following day we decided to go do some hiking but waited until later in the day because it has been so hot and humid lately! Guy seemed to enjoy the hike and we found a stream with a waterfall with very pretty rock formations to enjoy! The trails we did we very good, and we weren't expecting them to be anything super exciting but we were pleasantly surprised and really loved the wooded areas and streams. It was only a few miles but with the heat that's all we wanted to do that day.

Later we had a great campfire and we even ate dinner sitting around the campfire. We did take night walks but didn't record that. I think we walked another 2-3 miles not including the hike.

We weren't in any hurry to leave this park but we were excited to get back home and PICK UP PIPER from doggy bootcamp! She's BAAACCCKK! 😆
She was so happy to see me and I couldn't believe how excited she was because I've only ever seen her get that excited for Mike, never me! I guess she didn't hold a grudge against me for leaving her there for weeks haha

She spent the next day or 2 decompressing and relaxing and just being happy to be home and in her space.

I have been working with her everyday reinforcing the rules and commands she's learned so far, and she is doing well but she's not quite there yet where she knows and trusts that I'm the boss. She's getting there! We will keep everyone up to date on her progress!

Time to get back out on the road, with Piper this time!
