Electric Chainsaw Test (6 Month 2500 RAM Truck Update)

In this episode of Wandering Wagners we decided to put the Milwaukee Electric Chainsaw to the test and give a 6+ Month update on Mike's RAM 2500 Truck.

It's no secret that Mike loves all his @MilwaukeeTool items so when he got the chainsaw, he was very excited to try it out and put it to the test. We finally had the opportunity to test it on a few recently downed trees at his work. They weren't terribly large for the most part but it was way more use than he'd been able to use it before. We spend a good portion of the morning out cutting and loading wood and WOW it made the job much easier! Not to mention is is quieter, no fuel to mix, lighter, and the battery lasted the whole time and then some. The downside is that the battery is the biggest one they make and it is more costly than some of the tools! But they are interchangeable with other tools so it can be worth it to buy and use with other tools like we do, including the impact and weed whacker among other things.

We then returned home to split and stack the wood and because it was fresh cut, green wood it'll have to sit and dry out for several months so we will be able to burn it next Summer.

This was the first time Lynn used the log splitter and it worked great for her too.
Electric tools won't replace gas tools especially if you cut wood more frequently than once or twice a year, but if you're like us, then we recommend you check out these electric tools!

Next, Mike gives a 6+month review on his 2022 RAM 2500 gas pickup truck. Though he's only put less than 4k miles on the truck, he still loves it and we are glad we have both a truck and a Jeep. It sure makes getting firewood a lot easier and there's no need for a diesel truck like we've owned in the past, especially with his 9 mile a day commute!
