Jeff Beck Blow by Blow [1975]

Jeff Beck is THE preeminent guitarist to emerge from the British Invasion, among a few of the other great ones - maybe even in the same band as him ;)

Blow by Blow is his second solo record, released in March of 1975. An instrumental album full of his signature lyrical playing. It's beautiful, soothing, funky, evocative music. Beck is surrounded by other great players including Stevie Wonder and Max Middleton, and produced by George Martin.

Always interesting to listen to, and to talk about, Jeff Beck is distinguished by a thirst to ever transform, getting better and better as a musician, refining and perfecting his craft without ceasing until the end of his life. He touched so many people, musicians and otherwise. He will be sorely missed.
