LG Electronics Recalls Free-Standing 86-Inch Smart Televisions and Stands Due to Serious Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards
The voluntary recall focuses on the assembly stand for 52,000 86-inch TVs sold in the US.
The recall covers four LG TV models: the 86UQ8000AUB, 86UQ7070ZUD, 86UQ7590PUD, and 86NANO75UQA, all of which weigh about 100 pounds. Hence, the TVs could cause serious damage, especially to small children, if they fall.

The company sold the TVs between March and September 2022 through retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Costco. “LG Electronics has received 22 reports of TV stand instability, resulting in 12 reports of tip-overs,” the CPSC said, although no injuries have been reported so far.
