Not that long ago the Biden administration made clear that U.S. support for Ukraine in the war against Russia would NOT include deployment of American tanks. Well now it appears the White House has “evolved” on the issue and 31 U.S.-made M1 Abrams tanks will be headed to Ukraine after all. Except they may not arrive until next year, and there’s a great deal of question whether these military vehicles will even make any difference in the prosecution of the war. It also exposes the plan to prolong the Ukrainian war out for at the very least another year so the Military Industrial Complex can make untold billions in sales.
