At age 16, watching the events of Sept 11, 2001, Kim Brombaugh felt compelled to join the Army and do her part to help protect our nation. After finishing high school, she went to basic training and then became a 31B Military Police Officer.

While her reason for joining was to help right the wrong done to our country, her plans for her military career went very differently from what she had planned on due to unforeseen circumstances.
