I went solo car camping in winter woods with my dodge campervan. I only used candles for heat and cooking. It got very cold in my minivan as the candles didn't live up to what they claim. To use while van camping in the winter you are going to need multiples of these candles to stay warm. I usually use my mr buddy heater while winter camping in my campervan and stay very warm.
