Lobby groups for universities, student groups and business owners hold a news conference in Ottawa to urge the federal government to foster and retain talent in Canada. Taking part in the event are Benoit-Antoine Bacon, president and vice-chancellor of Carleton University, Perrin Beatty, president and CEO of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and Christian Fotang, vice-president external of the University of Alberta Students' Union and chair of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations.
