Whenever someone defends the Russian government, all they need to look is at this video and others. This was filmed in 2017 before what happens now in Russia. Navalny and his supporters were atacked in the street. The second atack on Navalny the opposition leader was with a substance that almost blinded him. After that he was imprisoned unjustly just for speaking out. In Ukraine, pre war, many leaders said they are brothers with the Russians and some mayors were pro Russia and there was no punishment for that. This doesnt make Ukranians right because lots of human right abuses happen now in Ukraine as well. But to support Russia, or Putin, or Russian government and army is madness. The people doing this support, none of them actually lived in Russia to see how much free speech they have if they dont agree with Putin, the government, the draft, the criminality there, the taxation, with anything that has to do with the government or its structures
