Question from our followers: How can we help normalise the fact that we are all impacted by mental illness, whether directly or indirectly (through those around us)?

Whether we like it or not, mental health and mental illness is all around us. It has an impact on us, our family, our friends and our community.

But why should we normalise talking about mental illness? How do we normalise mental illness and the stigma of either avoiding the problem, the people who have it or just not discussing the issue entirely. Perhaps because of fear. Not understanding or being aware about its impact on society and how it can be addressed, and the fact that people can recover.
