Are you blocking the Holy Spirit’s voice?

Acts 7:51
"You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you."

Could you imagine being on the receiving end of this statement? Stephen inspired by the Holy Spirit speaking boldly and clearly rebuking the Jewish leadership. Why did the Lord take such a harsh stance and tone with them? Because there was no other way to break through their hard hearts and religious mindset. They thought they knew better than God by following tradition over scriptures. I've learned that the Holy Spirit is prompting everyone, saved and unsaved, all the time, all day long. If you feel that you aren't being led by the Spirit, it's probably because you are resisting Him. I know that's not an easy thing to say, but in many cases that's very true. I can tell you from experience. When I act out of my flesh, He'll let me know. When I'm humbling myself, things just automatically come into place. Like it was ordained by God Himself, because it is. It's a wonderful experience following His voice. Be still and listen, He's always talking.
