IN the Badlands. one of our favorite stops! #badlands

We were actually able to walk around all over the Badlands. Some parks don't let you really explore. This was such an incredible place. I would make it an actual destination in the future. We were passing through headed towards Idaho and eventually Glacier National Park in Montana.
