Australians gather to celebrate national day

Thousands of Australians came together in state capitals, on beaches and across Sydney Harbor on Thursday (January 26) to celebrate Australia's national day, while others rallied in support of Indigenous people. Speaking at a flag-raising and citizenship ceremony in Australia's capital, Canberra, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese honored the nation's Indigenous people, who have occupied the land for at least 65,000 years.
