Can't find anything to do in Billund 🇩🇰

There is nothing to do in Billund unless you go to Legoland. If anybody from the Billund tourism board thinks I should come back to see if they can change my mind, feel free to contact me and we can discuss working together.

I grabbed one of Ryanair's cheap flights to Billund in Denmark from Manchester, knowing very little about the area apart from Legoland being there. When I arrived, it was evident there was nothing else to do.

Strap in for this wild travel vlog.

Spoiler alert, there's absolutely nothing to do in Billund, Denmark unless you want to play with lego or go to Legoland. The town is so small that I walked through it in minutes.

A lot of people seem to have the same idea as me due to the Ryanair cheap flights. Ryanair make it possible to fly around Europe for such a small amount of money, but is it worth it? Generally, yes, Ryanair fly to some great places, but seriously, if you're going to fly to Billund without planning on going to Legoland, don't waste your money - there is literally nothing else to do there.

I, as many other people do, check RyanAir's Fare Finder service quite often to find cheap flights around Europe and I kept spotting the cheap flights to Billund in Denmark, so I thought I'd go to cehck it out. It turns out there's a reason the flights are so cheap... There's nothing to do! Well, unless you want to go to Legoland or play with Lego at the Lego House.

It's actually a pretty good option if you've got kids, but without kids, there's very little point in going. The theme park is pretty small and although Lego is fun, unless you're obsessed, you'll be bored of the Lego house after an hour or so.

Billund airport is about an hour's walk from Legoland and the centre of Billund, but a bus or a taxi would be extremely cheap. I got the bus from Billund airport to just outside of the Lego House and it took literally 2 minutes, but I decided to walk the next day as I had absolutely nothing to do after grabbing lunch in a Danish bakery. Sometimes solo travel is lonely, and it's even worse when you're in a place with absolutely nothing to do apart from look at the huge lego bricks in the centre, outside of the Lego House.

In the bakery in Billund, they didn't have normal English tea, so I went for the Hugge tea, which was excellent and I'd definitely recommend it.
