The most dangerous street in Ukraine? πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

I was looking for some cool things to see whilst in Odessa, and I came across Devolanovsky Descent, which is a pretty much abandoned street, or a descent, which leads to the port of Odessa. As you'll see in the video, Devolanovsky Descent isn't a place you'd like to spend a lot of time.

It's right in the centre of Odessa, but on a lower level, compared to the main streets, which you can see crossing over the top of Devolanovsky Descent via bridges.

Pretty much every building in Devolanovsky Descent is graffiti'd or damaged. The whole area smells like urine. You can hear homeless people inside of the metal containers, and I'd assume that there were more people inside the abandoned Ukrainian buildings.

There are plans to do up Devolanovsky Descent, but I'm not sure if that'll happen, and if it does, it probably won't be for a long time.

As I was walking down Devolanovsky Descent, I heard a car slowly crawling behind me, and I decided to make a swift left up the stairs to get out of the way, as everything I'd read about Devolanovsky Descent was about theft, crime and robberies. Apart from that car, the whole area was nearly deserted. I saw a few cars, the odd person, and some workers up high cleaning windows.

Is this the most dangerous street in Ukraine? I'm not sure, probably not, but maybe it's a lot more dangerous at night rather than so early in the morning.

Most of these buildings are very old and probably left over from the soviet union, making them abandoned soviet buildings.

Would you visit Devolanovsky Descent?
