My leg got seriously infected in Mexico 🇲🇽

Yep, it's not clickbait. My leg got infected during my trip to Mexico, but it was kinda my own fault really along with a bit of bad luck. I got a lot of mosquito bites, standard really, and I scratched them as usual, but this time they got infected...

Watch the video for a full explanation of what happened, but basically I got a bacterial infection which infected my whole left leg from the top to the bottom, making it swell to at least twice the size of my right leg, making it extremely painful for me to put any pressure on it. It eventually got so bad that I gave in and went to the nearest hospital here in Cancun.

The thing to remember is not to panic, doctors exist all over the world and have the same attitude towards saving lives as doctors back at home, wherever you're from. They choose to be doctors and nurses for a reason. They want to help you.

Make sure you have medical insurance, especially going to places far from home. I have got medical insurance for my Mexico trip, which is good as hopefully I'll get this money back as I wasn't planning on spending nearly £200 on medical care in Mexico haha!
