Abandoned Yugoslav Train Station in Skopje 🇲🇰

I found out that Skopje had an abandoned Yugoslav train station near the centre of Skopje, just down the road from Macedonia square, so I had to check it out. I woke up early, walked 40 minutes from my apartment and ended up at this abandoned building, well, half-abandoned. Half of it has been turned into a museum and parts of it has just been left as it was from the earthquake in 1963 which devastated the city of Skopje and tore the train station in half.

A lot of Skopje has been completely rebuilt, mostly in 2014 which they refer to as something like the rebuild of Skopje. I show you in this video all I could get to see from the outside, as the abandoned parts are fenced off with 6 foot high metal fences with barbed wire, but it’s still interesting to see.
