Istanbul at the start of Covid 🇹🇷

I had a big trip booked around the middle east and even the far east, but they all got cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the only flights that weren't cancelled were my flights to Istanbul from Manchester and back.

The risk for me was that I would get stuck in Turkey, but I actually flew back early so that I wouldn't get stuck. Being stuck in Turkey wouldn't have been too terrible, but I'd rather be at home. I was planning to get stuck in Azerbaijan, but they closed the borders as soon as I arrived in Turkey, so that wasn't possible.

Anyway, here's a short video about what it's like in Istanbul, Turkey, during the Coronavirus pandemic that has the world in complete lockdown.

I stayed in a hotel called the Sefa Hotel, which I wouldn't really recommend.
