Inside a castle in the Turkish desert in Kayseri

We were told by Turks that Kayseri was the most boring city in Turkey, and they wondered why we were visiting. Well, we were actually visiting Cappadocia, but needed some decent internet to work, so we spend the weekend in Cappadocia then got the bus to the nearest big city, which happened to be Kayseri.

It turns out there are actually things to do in Kayseri, as we found this castle. Kayseri is in the centre of Turkey, the dry part, the Turkish desert. Whilst walking through Kayseri city centre, we came across the unmissable Kayseri castle and inside there are cafes, restaurants and some museums.
