In this video, me and Travelling Tom venture into the famous Cancún market called Mercado 28, which is in downtown Cancún, away from the hotel zone, but still a very touristy part of Cancún as all of the stalls here in Mercado 28 are geared towards visitors. The stalls mainly consist of souvenirs like key rings, ponchos, bottle openers, magnets, sombreros and then other things like tequila, food, cigars. Be aware that you'll probably get offered a lot of drugs and other illegal things whilst in Mexico, however, it's all asked in a very polite and friendly way. If you say no, they won't push you to buy anything from them.

We have all found that Mexicans are extremely friendly, and the salesmen here have some great tactics to try to get you to buy things from their shops, but they're always a funny, joking and friendly way, without any pressure. You'll have fun if you visit Mercado 28 in Cancun on your trip to Mexico.

In the video, Tom buys some fridge magnets from Mercado 28, along with trying some tequila. Tom bought some $10 Tequila at Mexican Market. I tried a coconut from a Mexican street vendor and then both of us tried some street tacos, just outside of Mercado 28. We had fun whilst wandering around this famous part of Cancún.

Would you try the tequila at this Mexican market in Cancun?
