Would you ride this Soviet Cable Car? πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

In Odessa, we came across this old Soviet chairlift which takes you from the road, near Mauritania arch directly to the beach.

In the video you'll see the chairlift operator shouting at me as I evidently didn't understand what she said. I actually wanted to take some photos of the cable cars but she rushed us by shouting in Russian telling us what to do. Luckily for us, Tanya speaks Russian so was able to understand what this lady was aggressively shouting at us about.

When we got to the end of this soviet chairlift, the other lady decided to shout at us whilst she was on the phone, which was pretty much as we expected from our experience at the top of the cable cars.

Would you ride this soviet chairlift?

The chairlift was rickety, made lots of noise and didn't really feel safe. It was safe, but as I said in the video, I'm not great with these sort of things, so I was sceptical. I was actually pretty shocked by the price compared to everything else in Ukraine. It was very expensive, for the location. Especially as public transport is only 5 hryvnia and this was 60.

I wouldn't ride it again but it was worth it for the experience of riding a soviet cable car.
