Would you do this Macedonian Road Trip?

We rented a car from Sixt and drove all the way from the north, Skopje, the capital city of North Macedonia, right down the west side of the country, bordering Albania all the way own to Ohrid, in the south, quite close to Greece.

Macedonia and Albania share Lake Ohrid, which is a popular tourist destination and the most visited part of North Macedonia. It is a beautiful part of the world, and perhaps you don't know this country is as beautiful as it is?

Macedonia used to be part of Yugoslavia, and since the breakup, it has been trying to establish itself as a prosperous and welcoming country, despite issues from their neighbours on every side.
