Trying Guadalajara's famous street food 🇲🇽

I love Mexican food, and I'm really enjoying getting to try all sorts of different versions of Mexican food. We're currently in Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco, and have been told by many Mexicans that the regional food is Torta Ahogada, which is a meat sandwich, covered in a spicy salsa. We had to try it.

We decided to go out, walk around and try to find a place that sold tortas ahogodas so we could try this dish which sounded very messy, spicy, but really good or so we've been told.

We found this outdoor restaurant, kinda street food style, but sat down in what looked like this lady's front garden with some food carts. It was class. Exactly the kinda place I want to eat in Mexico. She had her grandkids running around, her sons cleaning up, it was cool.

I'd recommend visiting. It was called La Gata and you can find it here: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@20.6673289,-103.330924,3a,75y,80.16h,81.72t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sEC4qFstCtR04PmAXD1cgIA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?hl=en

If you do visit here, please show her this video 😆

You haven't been to Guadalajara unless you've eaten this food.
