He drove through a river in Mexico 🇲🇽

We rented a car in Cancún with the idea to drive to Rio Lagartos which apparently has flamingos and a pink lake, so we thought we'd show you a bit from our road trip.

We were not planning on driving through a shallow lake, but the rain in Mexico had different ideas. The roads here in this part of Mexico have flooded so much that lots of cars are getting stuck.

In the video you'll see us driving through water, deep water, too deep for a car to be driving in. We were inches from getting stuck, but we did the right thing in the end.

At the end of the video you see me talking about the situation stood outside of the car at the end of the floods. We were so close to breaking down, well, we actually did break down as the car turned off and wouldn't turn back on. We decided that water had go into the exhaust and we just had to wait, or to turn it into steam by revving the engine. However, the car was struggling to turn on, and when it did, revving it made the engine cut out.

We waited for a while, stopped on this Mexican road, and eventually, Fisher revved the car a lot and lots of water came out of the exhaust, and we were able to get home. Lots of other people had broken down and we were 3 hours from our accomodation - very lucky.

Would you do this Mexican road trip?
