Foreigner bargains IN HINDI at Indian market in Pune 🇮🇳

I met with Manali in Pune to learn some Hindi basics, so we decided it would be a better idea to go to a market to try out my very basic Hindi skills in person with some salespeople at a market.

In this video I help Manali to buy a pop socket, by bargaining in Hindi, then I bought myself some sunglasses whilst accidentally bargaining. I actually wanted to pay the guy the full price but he ended up giving me a discount anyway, I just wanted to try my Hindi bargaining skills out on him before buying.

Bargaining isn't something I like to do, especially when the price is already good, but for the video and to learn some Hindi, Manali suggested that I should try to bargain with the guys in the market, who would already be expecting their customers to bargain with them as that's normal here in India.

I tried to bargain in Hindi, it worked, and I got a discount on the price he originally gave me at this market in Pune.

So a foreign guy bargains in Hindi, with an Indian girl, checking out a market, speaking to local Indians, seeing what stuff they have for sale. I'm happy with the sunglasses, it's a while after I made this video, and I still wear them.
