Eating street food and fighting in Mumbai 🇮🇳

I found Prasad online as a street food tour guide. I had a few hours before my flight out of India so I thought I'd do one last video, trying some of Mumbai's street food.

I'll be totally honest, it was super hard to hear anything Prasad said as he was softly spoken and all of the places we visited were next to super busy roads. Also, I specifically said that I had tried Pani Puri before so I wanted to try something else, but he didn't seem to pay much attention to that. Along with having to tell him multiple times that I only wanted one Pani Puri so I could try other things. It felt like a hard process rather than an interesting tour.

Anyway I ended up jumping between two guys fighting in the street which I found pretty funny until I saw the guy's wife trying to stop him, then I noticed he had a tiny daughter with him. Really poor on his behalf. The wife had to leave the daughter behind to stop her husband overreacting and hitting another man. You can see the little girl if you look closely, following her mum. I chose to try to calm this guy down as he seemed the aggressor, whereas the other guy seemed to walk away quickly. He was complaining that people shouldn't walk on the road - but there was no sidewalk, and bikes don't follow road rules anyway so his statement was nonsense. The guy's wife was crying on the back of the bike, as was the little girl. The aggressor here will think he was in the right, but he wasn't.

The majority of drivers around India have a terrible road manner - not as bad as Kathmandu, but pretty bad. It feels like they choose to inconvenience 1000 people, just to save 1 second of time for themselves - extremely inconsiderate way of driving. The issue is, if you don't follow this uncivilised way of driving, you'll never get anywhere, so it'll never change, as billions of people would need to change their mentality.

Overall, regarding the food I tried, it was ok, not great. I felt I had to consistently ask Prasad about the food, rather than him telling me what it is, as the guide, that I paid for this tour. I won't be recommending his tour.

Both guys were terrible fighters too. A teenager could easily have beaten both of them.
