Eating with locals in Dominican Republic barrio! 🇩🇴

I'm in a small town or village in Dominican Republic called Verón. It's a cool place with friendly people. I was hungry, so I decided to walk until I found some food that I wanted to eat, and it didn't take long until I found the most sus pizza restaurant in Dominican Republic, maybe the most sus in the world.

It was a pizza restaurant but it was also selling a menu of the day which was rice, fried chicken and some rice, which is what the guy who sat with me ate. He told me that usually people buy pizzas in the evening.

These pizzas were huge! Only 450 pesos each too, along with friendly service. She even gave me the juice for free, so I threw in the change as a tip.

The guy in the video is the son of the lady running the restaurant, called Among Us Pizza, in Verón. The girl you can hear speaking Spanish is his girlfriend. His English was spot on, better than my Spanish so we ended up speaking English which was cool.

If you do end up in Punta Cana and venture out to Veron, make sure you go say hi to the Among Us pizza guys. I'm sure they'd appreciate it.

Verón is supposedly a dangerous place for tourists, but listen to what this guy said, it's all propaganda from tour companies and hotels to get you to stay in their places and buy their stuff, which is what I said in the last video.
