A subscriber of mine named Par, messaged me to say that I should visit Amritsar near the border of Pakistan to visit the Golden Temple. This is the most important place for Sikhs in the world. I found Amritpal, who's a local guide and he took me and Tanya around the Golden Temple, explaining a lot about their culture and the significance of this place. The tour actually lasted around 3 hours, but I've trimmed it down to what I think are the most interesting bits.

Amritpal told me that this is the biggest free kitchen in the world. All the food is free, for anybody, regardless of who you are or what you identify as.

I think I explained well enough in the video as to why I wasn't eating, but I'll explain again before the questions come. I wasn't hungry. Tanya was hungry. There were lots of people who needed that food a lot more than me, so I didn't feel it to be necessary to take food away from somebody who needed it. I've tried a lot of Indian food and can assume that this food was great. I tried something from Tanya's tray, and it was good. I know there's a lot of food, but there are also a lot of hungry people.

We got to meet the chef of this 24 hour free kitchen in Amritsar at the famous Golden Temple. That was pretty cool. Amritpal's tour was quite long and really in-depth. Not something I tend to look for, but if you're looking for history and in-depth explanations, he's your guy.
