Mushroom Interview with Alan Rockefeller- All you didn't know about mushrooms!

In this video I had the pleasure of interviewing Alan Rockefeller, a modern guru on all things mushrooms, about the questions most people don't get to ask to a famous mycologist.
Alan is a citizen mycologist from Oakland California who studies everything about mushrooms. He is also among the leading-most experts on Psilocybe or Psilocybin mushrooms, better known as magic mushrooms. His studies have proven invaluable to the myco-community with his mission to DNA sequence and properly name all the mushrooms and make sure they get a proper place in taxonomy with their relatives.
Alan Rockefeller can be spotted around the world, foraging mushrooms half of the time, and in a laboratory the other half of the time- his work IS mushrooms. He is the Chief Mycologist for a small psychedelic's company in the Netherlands knows as Mimosa Therapeutics, but works mainly out of his lab in the Bay Area.
He frequently gives talks at mycological societies, performs workshops at various fungi-related events, and is generally out in the public guiding free forays for the myco-curious.
His altruism when it comes to mushrooms, his genuine desire to educate for free, his selflessness in a sometimes greedy world of mushroom professionalism gives him a place in my top favorite people in the mushroom community.
