Tuk Tuk tour around Pune, India 🇮🇳

I met Santosh a day or so earlier as he was my tuk tuk driver to the microbrewery just outside of Pune. He started chatting to me about some cool things to do in Pune, but never actually offered to take me on a tour like a lot of tuk tuk drivers do, so I asked him and he said yes. He planned the places to visit, but traffic in Pune is pretty bad so we didn't get to do them all.

First of all we went to Aga Khan, some palace that Gandhi stayed in. Within a few minutes of being there, a security guard told me that I wasn't allowed to record on my camera. Ridiculous rule at a tourist attraction, so I ignored his demand and carried on. But I was quite annoyed that he felt it was necessary to say this to me, when I asked him a genuine question about where Gandhi stayed, which he ignored. Later on you'll see that the ticket guy said it was ok, then some other guy said no camera but phone was ok, which is idiotic. They both record video.

Santosh then took me to a tribal museum, but I didn't fancy going into a museum for like 5 minutes, so we missed that one out and he took me to a temple which was pretty cool.

I let him decide the price of the tour. It took about 90 mins in total. For your info, a 3 hour 30 minute ride in a taxi to Mumbai is 1750 rupees, and Santosh charged me 1000 for this 90 minute tour. Add on some cost for his interaction - do you think the price was fair, or was I ripped off?

I hope he was joking about the tip, considering I told him to decide the price. If he wasn't joking, then that's out of order. He decided the price, then wanted more than he decided. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt, he seemed like a nice bloke.
